The thing about deadlines (even self-imposed ones)... You're supposed to have completed the goal by then. This is the third consecutive month I've missed my deadline. Unsat. Guess to ease my inner stress a bit, I'll start giving myself a grace period. I still intend to post on the 1st of every month, but if I can't for whatever reason, I'll give myself until the 5th to catch up.
Again, I only have a post for Amaka for story reasons. Soon, Starlight will start having entries, I promise. Just waiting on the right moment for the story to make sense for her to be able to write in the common language.... maybe next month I'll just doodle something for her if it doesn't make sense for her to write any...
Also, no I haven't forgotten about poor Alakath. He needs a couple more "days" before he can write again. *Spoiler* he's been unconscious for the past day or two. He'll have a nice, long entry again here soon.

Late again... Bad habits are forming it seems.
For the second month in a row I'm late posting. Worse is that I'm only doing one post this month! I just haven't had time to get on here and post this week, as I've either been in class, asleep, or at work. But I've finally got it posted. It's been ready to post for the past week or so, just was waiting on post day to get here. Well, hope it's enjoyable!

Oops... I'm late!
Hello, anyone that's graced this blog!
Sorry for being late with this post. Had some stuff going on that kept me away from this. Hopefully, I can be more punctual in the future! Not much in terms of housekeeping this time, but this is typically a stressful time for me, so I may not recall anything I may have intended to mention.
Anyway, enjoy this month's postings! (No, Starlight hasn't written anything yet!)

Maybe a little Housekeeping this time
Hello!
Guess I should clarify a few things. While I give myself a month to write the posts, they do go in chronological order, and only (with some exceptions) cover a single day. So each month, we learn what happens the next day. Not very efficient, I know, and I may change the rate of posting as my ability to write improves. For now, though, as I get in the groove of things, posting monthly is going to be the way I roll.
I also added the whole "Adult Content" warning this month. One of the posts calls for it, so it's in place now. Although a post this month calls for it, I don't expect every month to have such content, as this really isn't any form of erotica. Every now and then, though, some content, as indicated by the disclaimers on each page, will be graphic and is not appropriate for all audiences, although I want to reach as broad of one as possible.
Lastly, I'm looking for ways to get this out there. I'm going to start using Fur Affinity to begin with to get some feedback, as well as general publicity. I may branch out to other sites as I become aware of them.

Obligatory Intro Post!
Hello!
This is a new project of mine. Already put a month's work into it and ready to show the world what I've got so far! So, I've started a few large projects before and got mired in plot traversal. I'm hoping, that by working in smaller chunks I can avoid that, hence this project :)
So, the three journals each follow the story of one of three characters: Amaka LeRoe, Alakath Warrington, and Tabira Starlight Snowtail. (Starlight won't have a post this month, due to story reasons). I plan on the 1st of each month to post a new entry into each one's journal. The remainder of that week will be any final edits of any mistakes I didn't catch during the month. So, each post won't be "final" until the second week, when I begin actually writing the next month's posts.
I understand my writing style isn't great at the moment. Another reason for this project. I can receive public critique on my work and improve on my shortcomings. I hope that over time, you all notice an improvement to my style. (Starlight will be an exception here. I will be blatantly writing horribly to begin with for her, as she is just learning the language if you will, so improvement should seem fairly rapid).
The images of the characters are temporary placeholders until I can afford to have each commissioned. I'm not in a hurry to get this done, so they will do (Although Amaka is a rabbit, not a fox!)
Lastly, this is my first attempt at writing "furries", so if you're dead set against such, please, there is an "x" in your upper right hand corner. Press it. Otherwise, have an open mind and enjoy the stories!
